The proud mother of two unbelievably brilliant, talented, loving, and beautiful children. Carol is the lovely wife of their son-in-Gospel Matthew Laux. Matt and Carol have two daughters named Mikayla Elaine and Kelly. Their son William is a financial advisor for Northwestern Mutual Life. William is married to their daughter-in-Gospel Julie, who is a paralegal. Bill and Julie have a daughter named Jenna Anne and a son named Jacob.

The author of numerous Concordia Publishing House curriculum materials for Sunday Schools, Vacation Bible Schools, and Lutheran day schools. She is also the author of three Bible study books – Living With Compulsive Behavior, Growing as a Christian Mother, and Roots and Wings: A Parent’s Challenge.
