We the members of the Michigan District of the Lutheran Laymen’s League extend to your our warmest greeting in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. If you are not familiar with our organization, we are one of over 40 LLL districts throughout the United States and Canada. The Lutheran Laymen’s League is the parent organization of the Lutheran Hour and Lutheran Hour Ministries.
The Lutheran Hour radio broadcast is now heard weekly on nearly 1400 radio stations in the United States. It is also broadcast through the Internet and via American Forces Radio. It is the oldest continuously running Christian radio program, having originated in 1930.
Lutheran Hour Ministries currently sponsors a variety of programs and ministries in the U.S. including the LHM Men’s Network, Equipping to Share, Parenting Workshops, Project Connect, and the JC PlayZone. Lutheran Hour Ministries also works through more than 30 international ministry centers to meet the physical and spiritual needs of people around the world. The Missouri District of the LLL works with Lutheran Hour Ministries Vietnam to help spread the Gospel in words and actions.
