The Michigan District of the International Lutheran Laymen's League installed two officers at its convention April 18 at Maxfield's Restaurant in Edmore. Rev. Jakob Heckert, assistant pastoral advisor for the Michigan District LLL, opened the recent district convention on the theme SENT, based on John 20:21: “Jesus said to them 'peace be with you, as the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.'”

The Michigan District LLL at its convention on April 18 at Blanchard's Maxfield's Restaurant approved a budget of 2015-16 of $14,220. The budget was submitted by district treasurer Gilbert Bartz.
