Sebewaing women talks about working on the Lutheran Hour float

Bonnie Schamber from Sebewaing, Michigan, was a teacher at St. Paul and Christ the King and gave a unique presentation recently on her participation last as a petal pusher in the Lutheran Hour float for the Tournament of Rose Parade in Pasadena New Year’s Day.

She pointed out it was the only religious float in the parade.

“It’s a phenomenal way to reach people with the Gospel message,” Schamber said. “I’m awed with all the work goes into it; if you ever get the opportunity, it’s worth doing.”

She noted the theme of the 2025 float is “Behold Jesus The Savior is Born.”

Have you thought about helping decorate floats and/or visiting Southern California for the annual Rose Parade festivities? There is still time to sign up for a tour or to volunteer to be a Petal Pusher®. Visit www.petalpushers.org for details!

Whether you witness in person or watch on TV, mark your calendars for January 1 as we share the hope of Jesus with the world through the Tournament of Roses Parade.
