Phil Krauss II of Livonia, chairman of the Board of Directors for the International Lutheran Laymens League, will be the presenter at the 73rd annual convention of the Michigan District Lutheran Laymen’s League convention Saturday, April 18.
Married and the father of two, Krauss earned degrees from Adrian College (Adrian, Mich.) and Marygrove College (Detroit). He is program developer at Marygrove College where he had been director of enrollment. Krauss also was a bank loan representative. He has experience administratively in finance, recruitment, counseling, and admissions. Krauss was an LLL regional governor and committee chair and held several posts such as district chair and board secretary. Now he is an Ambassador and Men’s NetWork group leader.
The convention will be at Maxfield’s Restaurant on Wyman Road, four miles north of Edmore off of M-46.
Registration is 12:30 p.m. followed by the first convention sessions at 1 p..m. The theme of the convention will be SENt.
The convention ends at 5 p.m. followed by the banquet at 5:30 p.m. The cost for attending the banquet only, featuring Elaine Bickel, is $20.
